Shade Structure Installation in Riverside, CA

After having our wood patio for 30 years, and having to deal with painting it every few years, and fixing it every now and then, it was time to get rid of it, and have a new Patio for our backyard. My wife and I decided for the new Alum wood patios, this way we don't have to deal with rotted wood any longer. Since I had luck with contactors that did home service for us thru GOOGLE search, I decided to research for a Patio contractor using GOOGLE. I picked up 4 contractors for an estimate, all 4 contractors had 5 stars reviews on GOOGLE. I finally decided to have Jeff with J H Construction to do the work. Even though Jeff's estimate was few hundred dollars more than the other 3 contactors, but I felt that he is the person I can trust. The reasons I trusted Jeff with the job are: 1- Professional and Knowledge: Jeff took the measurement, outlined exactly how the Patio look will be, showed us the options available, answered all my wife questions, and all my questions, and I sensed in him that he will not do shortcuts like the other contactors wanted to do. One contactor wanted to attach the patio to the Eave wood instead of the wall stucco, because it is easier to do that, not with Jeff, he explained that the Patio should be attached to the stucco of the house, more work, but it is the correct way. 2-Honesty: I sensed honesty in Jeff, he did not even take a penny until the job was completed. On the day of Installation Jeff dispatched his crew, the foremen Justin, the Electrician Sam, and the helper Ken. They came early in the morning worked till 6PM, and the next day Sam came to do the final touch up that took only about 1 hour. 3-Integrity: Jeff gave me 10 years part and Labor warranty, the other contactors were talking 1 year warranty, even one of the contractors want to sell us 5 years warranty for an extra $1000, not with Jeff, there was no extra fee for the 10 years parts/labor warranty. 4-Willigness to work with our request: We wanted our Patio little different, part Lattice and part solid roof, Jeff was willing to do that, other contractors refused. My wife and I are very happy with the work that J H Construction did, I am glad I found that company on GOOGLE search. Thanks GOOGLE!

Jeff and his team installed a large Patio Cover at our house and we couldn’t be happier with it. When I reached out for a quote, Jeff showed up personally (which I loved) and made me feel confident in his skillset and ability to get the job done. We opted for all the bells and whistles with GFI switches, ceiling fans, post lights and recessed lighting. Jeffs team did a great job with the installation and are highly professional. Jeff was nice enough to come out to get everything just right after the installation multiple times. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a patio cover or rain gutters in the Southern California area. 5 stars!

Jeff was awesome! Very attentive to what we wanted and knowledgeable to give suggestions. The installation crew was also clean and respectful. I feel like they treated my home like their own. Would highly recommend and definitely would use again.

To whom it may concern, I would like to send a thank you letter in recognition of the JH Construction Team. In May of 2020, my wife and I were searching for a company to give us a quote on an insulated patio cover for our backyard. We searched YouTube, Yelp and the Yellow Pages for company’s and read/watched at least 75 videos and various reviews. We had a particular idea that we interested in and had a rough price point in mind. We finally decided to give JH Construction a call and Jeff the owner answered within the first three rings!! That was a positive showing to me. We talked for a while and finally set a date for him to come out and give us an estimate. One of Jeff’s employees came out and was 15 minutes early!! Another positive showing for me. Drew introduced himself and was in full COVID dress (mask and staying 6 feet away), we went in the backyard and I explained what I wanted and he took measurements and drew out the plan and gave me a price right then and there. They guys that work for JH Construction were very respectfully and courteous at all times and did not use unprofessional language. The team worked quickly and efficiently!! At the end of each day they did a great job at cleaning up and ensured to lets us know when they were leaving so we could secure the backyard. The whole process went very smoothly once the product arrived at JH Construction (COVID delays). Jeff is a straight shooter letting you know exactly what to expect during the build process; the lines of communication were efficient and effective. My wife and I love our two-piece patio installation. We had three ceiling fans, LED lights and seven post lights installed which makes the backyard look amazing at night!! We have received nothing but positive compliments from neighbors, family and friends who have seen our yard transformation. I strongly recommend JH Construction to all my military friends and church members, because I know they will be as impressed as I was with the professionals at JH Construction and the very competitive prices!!
